Frazzled is one of a series of geometric explorations playing with the magic of overprinted colours that followed on from my These Four Walls series.
It’s the result of three randomised compositions of modular metal ornaments of various geometric designs (dots, lines and squares) printed on top of each other. Each composition was hand inked and letterpress printed in black, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow inks onto tactile 100% recycled grey card.
Working with these ornaments is a lot of fun. Imagine playing Tetris with tiny metal blocks, and you’ll get the idea! For more on how similar pieces were made, see my journal post about a three-colour version (I’ll be making more like that) and my video about These Four Walls.
The edition is limited to just 4 prints, of which 3 are available for sale.
Supplied in a board-backed cello sleeve.
